No guessing sizes, no ordering multiple pairs, no returns, no postage costs, and no stress for parents. We make it simple for busy mums and dancers by helping you find the right fit first time. Whether your dancer needs ballet shoes, tap shoes, jazz shoes, character shoes, dancewear, or pointe shoes, we guide you through the options and make sure everything is suitable, comfortable, and performance-ready. We have been fitting dancers since 2012, so you can feel confident that your child is in experienced hands. You do not need to know what size, style, or brand is best — that is our job. Our fitting service saves you time, money, and the hassle of online ordering mistakes. We come prepared, we know what to check, and we help make dancewear shopping easier for families and dance schools.
Cancellation Policy
Melancia Dance UK – Fitting Appointment Policy Thank you for booking a fitting appointment with Melancia Dance UK at your dance school. To ensure fittings run smoothly and we can prepare the correct items for each dancer, please read the following policy carefully. Booking Fee A £10 booking fee is required to secure each standard fitting appointment. The £10 booking fee will be deducted from your final purchase on the day of the fitting. Pointe Shoe Fittings Pointe shoe fittings require two 15-minute appointment slots per student, giving a total fitting time of 30 minutes. A £20 booking fee is required to secure a pointe shoe fitting appointment. The £20 booking fee will be deducted from the final pointe shoe purchase on the day. Appointment Length Standard shoe fittings are 15 minutes per dancer. Pointe shoe fittings are 30 minutes per dancer. Each sibling/dancer must have their own separate booking appointment. Siblings cannot share appointment slots. Cancellation Policy Appointments may be cancelled up to 24 hours before the fitting event for a full refund of the booking fee. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the fitting event, late cancellations, or missed appointments/no-shows will result in the booking fee being lost. Required Information / Intake Form A separate intake form must be completed for each dancer. All requested dancer information, sizing details, and item requests must be submitted at least 3 days before the fitting event. If the intake form is not completed by this deadline, we cannot guarantee that the requested items, sizes, or styles will be available during the fitting. Product Availability We prepare stock based on the information submitted, but availability cannot be guaranteed for every item, size, or style. Some products may need to be specially ordered after the fitting appointment. Payment for Purchases Any purchases made on the day must be paid in full before items are taken home or before any special orders are placed. Late Arrival Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you arrive late, you will automatically be moved to the end of the queue unless there is a suitable gap between fittings. Late arrivals may result in a shorter appointment or may mean we are unable to complete the fitting on the day Agreement By booking a fitting appointment, you agree to the terms outlined above.
